Information

Check-in is at 3 p.m.  Please try to let us know if you will be arriving late.  Check-out is at 12 noon.  The Rippon-Kinsella Mansion provides a courtesy pickup and return at the Springfield Amtrak Station and the Springfield Airport.

• Rates quoted are double occupancy.
   
• Roll-away beds are available for the Captain's Quarters and the Campaign Room.
   
• Each additional person is $20.00 per night.
   
The entire house is centrally air-conditioned.  All rooms have televisions and high-speed internet is available.  Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on weekdays and from  8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on weekends, or on the  patio during the summer months if you wish.  Children twelve and over are welcome.  Pets are not allowed.  The interior of the house is a smoke-free environment, however smoking is permitted on the porches and patio. 
 
• The inn is available for private parties, meetings, weddings and receptions  with seating accommodations for groups of up to ten.   Larger groups can be accommodated in the garden area.
   
• Complimentary bicycles are available for rides through nearby Oak Ridge Cemetery and Lincoln Park.  Box lunches are available for purchase.
   
• Most of the wrought-iron furniture and decorations on the grounds of the Rippon-Kinsella House is available for purchase and can be shipped anywhere.  Please inquire.  
   
• Gift certificates are available.

• A 50% deposit is required when the reservation is made.
   
• Due to the limited number of rooms, the following cancellation policy applies:
  
   If a reservation is cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the date of arrival, the deposit is refunded less a $20 service charge.
  
  If a reservation is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the date of arrival, the deposit is forfeited.
   
• In the event of no-shows or early checkouts, a full night's rate will be charged.
